About the role:
As the Hotel Services Manager at Boandik, you will be responsible for leading our housekeeping team to deliver exceptional housekeeping, cleaning and laundry services across our facilities. Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, you will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, ensuring our services meet Boandik's high standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with staff across all departments to deliver seamless, high-quality housekeeping services.
* Oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring compliance with Boandik policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
* Attend resident meetings to address and resolve any questions or concerns regarding housekeeping and laundry services.
* Work closely with the Corporate Services Manager to monitor and manage housekeeping budgets effectively.
* Maintain a welcoming, homelike environment that upholds the rights, dignity, privacy, and individual choices of each resident.
* Champion infection control and safety practices to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer service excellence.
About You:
* Relevant qualifications in hospitality management, housekeeping or significant leadership experience in housekeeping or hospitality management within aged care, healthcare, or a similar industry.
* Minimum 4 years of practical experience in a supervisory or management role with a proven track record.
* Strong knowledge of infection control, hygiene, and safety regulations, particularly as they apply in residential care settings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff at all levels.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service quality.
* Proven experience in budgeting and resource management to meet departmental targets effectively.
