About The Role
As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for undertaking routine maintenance works in Council controlled parks, reserves and selected roadsides.
Permanent Full Time, 38 Hours per week, Frankston location, Seasonal overtime available.
Responsibilities
* Ability to operate front deck mowers or Zero Turn Mowers and Push Mowers and brush cutters
* Perform routine prestart checks on your daily equipment
* Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
* Complete horticultural tasks as required based our contract
* Follow and practice safety protocols and procedures

About You
* Experience in Horticulture, lawn care and maintenance. Qualifications preferred.
* Knowledge or herbicide applications and techniques
* Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun
* Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
* Ride on Mower experience of Council Controlled sites will be highly regarded
* Current White Card and Working with Children check or willingness to obtain
* Willingness to obtain a National Police Check
