This full-time Civil Project Manager / Contract Manager position with Cole Civil Contracting offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects in the Shellharbour region of NSW. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management and contract administration to ensure the successful completion of complex construction projects.
What you'll be doing
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and resourcing
* Oversee the procurement, tendering and contract management processes
* Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely project delivery
* Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular progress updates
* Ensure project compliance with all relevant regulations, codes and safety standards
* Lead and mentor a team of project engineers and site supervisors
* Continuously seek to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar civil construction project management role
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects within time and budget constraints
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively
* Strong commercial acumen and contract management expertise
* Proficient in project management software and tools
* In-depth knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards and quality assurance processes
* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
