As MESHKI's Head of Sourcing and Supply Chain, you will be at the heart of our mission to revolutionize the fashion industry. You'll navigate the global marketplace to forge partnerships based on shared values and mutual growth. Your expertise will ensure that every MESHKI product reflects our commitment to quality, ethics, and sustainability.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
* Drive sourcing strategy aligned with MESHKI's ethos of quality, innovation, and sustainability, impacting product excellence and brand integrity.
* Identify, evaluate, and partner with global suppliers that meet our standards for quality, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and ethics.
* Negotiate strategically to establish favorable terms and a reliable, high-quality supply chain.
* Implement sourcing strategies that support MESHKI's business goals, focusing on cost efficiency, supplier diversification, and risk management.
* Collaborate with product development, buying, and design teams to align sourcing with product roadmaps and launch schedules.
* Work with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet standards and regulatory compliance through stringent quality measures.
* Monitor market trends to identify innovations in materials and technologies, leading initiatives in material innovation and sustainability.
* Embed sustainability and ethical sourcing into MESHKI's sourcing strategy, reflecting our social responsibility commitment.
* Develop policies and conduct supplier audits to ensure alignment with our sustainability and ethics values.
* Lead cross-departmental teams to achieve MESHKI's vision, enhancing brand and operational excellence.
* Optimize supply chain operations for efficiency, resilience, and adaptability, addressing logistics, lead times, and inventory challenges.
* Leverage technology, including Business Intelligence and AI tools, to improve decision-making and supply chain visibility.
* Prepare contingency plans and explore alternative sourcing options to ensure continuity.
* Promote circular economy principles by reducing waste, recycling, and extending product lifecycles.
* Implement capacity-building programs for suppliers focusing on sustainability, quality, and ethical labor practices.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING:
* Over 7 years of proven sourcing or procurement experience in the fashion industry, with deep knowledge of global supply markets beyond China.
* Strong negotiation skills, with understanding of trade regulations, duties, and factory positioning in Australia, the US, and other key regions.
* Experience managing multiple warehouses and expanding fashion businesses internationally, particularly from Australia.
* A commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing practices aligned with MESHKI's mission.
* Excellent project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Exceptional relationship-building skills with suppliers, partners, and internal teams to negotiate favorable terms and ensure supply reliability.
