We are looking for a qualified RN with fluency in all-aspects of Practice Nursing to buddy-up with our two practice-owning GP Partners and assist us with our clinical workload, including complex case & chronic disease management. The Big Idea is this will allow us to devote the time necessary to Registrar-training and Service development matters, without losing clinical momentum in meeting the needs of our loyal patients
We are friendly & professional team, providing high-quality, private-billing healthcare, in a relaxed and informal way. We don't do stress - check out our google reviews for a sense of how people feel about us.
The ideal candidate will be a caring and dedicated nurse, who is also self-directed, time-efficient, and understands Medicare requirements. You will be 'leading' on patient-need discovery and shaping their care by leading consultations and creating documentation, in collaboration with our GPs. This will require you to be comfortable with following our due-processes, spotting and acting upon the opportunities to optomise patient-wellness, and of course practice income.
The role is likely to be casual while we get to know each other, with-a-view-to permanent employment after the appraisal period - but this is negotiable. Your flexibility in contributing to holiday and sick-leave cover is anticipated, but we also have our existing roster of RNs so have some room to tailor a role for the right candidate.
The position includes but is not limited to:
Care plans & Health assessments
General nursing care e.g. wound management & immunisations
Benefits:
Highly competitive, above award-hourly rate
Great work/life balance- no weekends or after hours, within the hours of 8-6 only.
Opportunity to be part of a team that promotes excellent healthcare to our patients

* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Prior experience in general practice
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
* Strong self, organisational & time management
* Ability to work both independently & teamworking

* Experience in chronic disease management
* Knowledge of Best Practice
