About CAWLS The 
Central Australian Women’s Legal Service (CAWLS) 
is a community legal centre supporting women across Central Australia and the Barkly Region. We provide legal help, education, and advocacy with a strong focus on domestic and family violence. 
The Role Based in Alice Springs, you’ll be part of our 
Health Justice Partnership, working closely with health providers to: 
Provide legal advice and representation in family law, domestic and family violence, and child protection matters 
Respond to referrals from hospitals and clinics 
Deliver outreach and community legal education 
Collaborate with health professionals to strengthen referral pathways and support women’s safety 
What You’ll Bring 
Eligibility to hold a NT Practising Certificate 
Experience in family/domestic violence law (desirable) 
Strong communication, cultural awareness, and commitment to social justice 
Ability to work independently and in a close-knit team 
NT Driver’s Licence, Ochre Card, and Police Check (or ability to obtain)
