We have an exciting opportunity for a staff to join the team at Kabul house, a leading retailer in Glenorchy, TAS. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our busy retail store. This is a full-time position based in Glenorchy.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting the Store Manager in overseeing all daily store operations.
* Supervising and motivating the kitchen team to deliver excellent customer services
* Handling cash management, inventory control, and loss prevention procedures
* Providing training and development to store associates
* Supporting the planning and execution of promotional events and sales campaigns
* Stepping in as Store Manager in their absence
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a retail management or supervisor role
* Strong customer service orientation and people management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Numerical skills and experience with POS systems and inventory management
* Problem-solving mindset and ability to work well under pressure
* Passion for the retail industry and a commitment to driving sales growth
