Details: Join the Suburban Land Agency (SLA), the ACT Government's land developer, as Executive Branch Manager, Greenfields and Infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for a $200M annual capital program delivering new suburbs, major infrastructure, and sustainable communities. It is a rare opportunity to influence city-shaping outcomes, drive innovation, and lead high-performing teams in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
You will lead the Greenfield Development, Molonglo Town Centre Program, and Infrastructure Services teams. This includes overseeing all phases of delivery—from planning and approvals to procurement, construction, and stakeholder engagement. Key projects include new suburbs such as Kenny, Bandler, and Sulman, enabling works like Deep Creek Dam, and future development in Gungahlin and Molonglo Town Centre.
This is a unique opportunity to shape city-scale outcomes, build strong partnerships across government and industry, and lead multidisciplinary teams committed to excellence. You will represent SLA at executive forums, public meetings, and industry events, and act as a Principal Authorised Person under GC-21 contracts.

We welcome applicants with strong leadership experience in infrastructure, land development, infrastructure or constructions from both Government and/or the private sector. Executive level experience working in a commercial environment across the public and private sectors will be highly regarded.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $288,060 - $298,258 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $254,964.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years. Prospective applicants should be aware that long-term engagements are tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly.
