We are currently seeking multiple Casual Community Support Workers to join our dedicated Tuggerah team.
In this on-call role, you will provide essential support by covering shifts when our permanent team members are on leave or unwell. With varied daytime shifts across the week and regular weekend opportunities, this role is ideal for semi-retired professionals, students, or anyone balancing family commitments who is looking for flexible, rewarding work.
We provide full onboarding and training, and our supportive team will be with you every step of the way. This is your opportunity to make a genuine difference in people’s lives while enjoying work that adapts to your lifestyle.
In this role, you will deliver person-centred care to older people supporting them to remain safe, independent, and connected within their homes and communities.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Transport to appointments and social activities
* Personal care support
* Welfare checks
* Meal preparation and light domestic assistance
* Medication support (as required)
* Shopping and companionship
* Respite support

About You

Essential Requirements & Attributes:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or an equivalent aged care qualification, plus a minimum of one year experience in a similar role is essential.
* Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain
* Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain
* Compassionate, patient, and confident communication skills
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team
* Availability to work a minimum of two days per week
* Current NSW Driver Licence and a certified safe driving record (available through Service NSW)
* A reliable, well-maintained vehicle with comprehensive insurance
