This exciting role offers a unique chance to progress your career as an Emergency Medicine Registrar/Senior Registrar in a busy and dynamic Emergency Department within a University Hospital in Queensland.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team managing complex emergency cases, including trauma, paediatrics, obstetrics, toxicology, geriatrics, indigenous and tropical medicine, and inter-hospital retrievals.
The department offers comprehensive training and development opportunities, including ACEM-accredited training, advanced skills placements, external rotations in ICU, Anaesthetics, Ultrasound, Medical Admin, and more.
A highly experienced and supportive senior workforce of 45 FACEMs and PEMs provides guidance and mentorship to help you achieve your professional objectives.
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the specified selection criteria, which include MBBS or equivalent with at least 3 years post-registration experience in Emergency Medicine, Current AHPRA registration or eligibility via competent authority pathway, Enrolled in or eligible for a recognized vocational training program e.g., ACEM, ACRRM, RACGP and commitment to high-quality emergency care and continuous learning.
