We are seeking an enthusiastic, capable and competent Solicitor/ Associate to join our Family Law team.
THE ROLE
* Providing legal advice and representation to clients on a range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements and parenting matters.
* Preparing and filing court documents, including applications, affidavits, and submissions.
* Negotiating property settlements and parenting matters and representing clients in court proceedings.
* Conducting legal research and analysis.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient client experience.
* Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with changes in family law.
ABOUT YOU
* You're admitted to practice law as a solicitor in Queensland (2+ years' PAE preferred but not essential).
* You have strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to empathise and communicate effectively with clients.
* You have effective legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
* You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
