We're seeking a dynamic Coordinator to oversee venue operations, event delivery, customer service, and technical services. Working closely with the Creative Director, you'll lead a team to deliver outstanding performing arts experiences, support community programs, and drive opportunities to showcase local talent.

Coordinator Presenter Operations – Performing Arts is directly responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of services across the organisation which include:
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the successful day-to-day operation of The Wedge
- Assisting in the development of a high performing team of event staff.
- Coordinating The Wedge venue hire service.
- Overseeing the customer service, ticketing and technical operations at The Wedge.
- Liaising with producers and hirers.
- Working with the Creative Director to create, present and co-ordinate community performing arts programs.
- Assisting in facilitating the outreach of performing arts projects throughout Wellington Shire.
- Seeking and driving opportunities to produce and co-produce locally made works to showcase the regions rich performing arts sector
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate how they meet the criteria below:
- Tertiary qualifications in Events, Performing Arts, or a related field, along with relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the performing arts and entertainment industry, including venue operations, event delivery, and technical requirements.
- Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver events and venue operations within budget and timeframes, balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with hirers, producers, patrons, contractors, community groups, and industry partners.
- Proficiency in venue/event management systems, ticketing platforms, and other relevant technology, with strong administrative and reporting skills.
