Salary – $96,586 (inclusive of worker retention payment) plus superannuation.
Overview
One Tree Defence Kids Crew is a welcoming service located in Nowra. It is a small service with a maximum of 25 places, offering before school care, after school care, and vacation care. Care hours are 7 – 9 am and 3 – 5:30 pm during the school term, and 7 : 00 am – 5:30 pm during the school holidays.
Responsibilities
* Ensure clear, effective communication across all service levels, fostering collaboration, professionalism, trust, and respect.
* Oversee compliance with educational and safety standards, maintaining a secure learning environment.
* Drive community engagement, building solid relationships with families and stakeholders.
* Lead and inspire a team of educators, fostering professional growth and a positive work environment.
* Create innovative educational programs for children aged 5‐12, encouraging curiosity and learning.
* Serve as the nominated supervisor and first aid officer.
Selection Criteria
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA‐approved equivalent.
* At least 2 years experience as a director in an early childhood or OSJHC service.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Track record in assessment and rating, achieving "Meeting" or "Exceeding" standards.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
