Emergency Response Team Member Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Response Team Member to join our client, Thales, on casual assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and operational control of high-risk activities.
* Providing immediate support for all high-risk activities, including confined space entries and dock operations.
* Working with project managers to control and monitor high-risk activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a demonstrated understanding of high-risk activities with excellent communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience in emergency response and rescue techniques.
* Hold a Confined Space Rescue Certificate, Vertical Rescue Qualification, and Work and Enter a Confined Space Certificate.
* Operate Breathing Apparatus – Open Circuit, Working at Heights, First Aid – Apply, and Construction White Card.
* Awareness Level 1 and Vertical Rescue Qualification permit issuer and atmospheric gas tester experience with qualifications.
* Australian Defence Security Clearance: Baseline or NV1.
