We are seeking an experienced Customer Services Officer who enjoys a busy and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the General Manager South Australia and supervised by the Team Leader, you will support medical specialists by ensuring smooth booking of appointments and submission of paperwork, providing correct booking advice, and arranging appointments with our extensive specialist consultant team. Job Description
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Liaising with specialists to assist in managing appointments and troubleshooting as needed
2. Liaising with customers to book the correct specialist for the case at hand
3. Scheduling of appointments
4. Maintaining busy inboxes with queries and services
5. Providing excellent communication skills over the phone and via email to customers and consultant practitioners
6. Communicating clearly to customers with information and advice
7. Undertaking other tasks as needed, including administration tasks, reception duties, and chaperoning
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will have:
* Demonstrated experience as a claims officer or case manager with an insurer, rehabilitation provider, or claims agent
* Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service with a 'can do' attitude
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* The ability to work independently and within a team environment
* An enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful personal approach
* Strong prioritization skills with flexibility
* Attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
