Anglesea Cafe & General Store is seeking a full time or casual Chef and Cook for an ongoing position.
We are a newly refurbished cafe in an iconic building on the Excellent Ocean Road in Anglesea VIC.
We have recently clicked our 2st year of trading and the business is constantly growing.
In the coming few weeks, we are looking for an experienced breakfast cook to add to our crew
The position is casual, but, for the right person, a potential full time ongoing position can be available throughout the year.
Spread over breakfast and lunch hours. We are open seven days a week. Applicants need to be hard working, high energy and have a love for hospitality.
Pay with Restaurant Award rates.
In return they'll be well looked after with free coffee/drinks, free meals on shifts, discounts and good vibes
A large portion of casual shifts flow over weekends and early mornings. Hours can be flexible for the right candidates.

Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure consistency and excellence in taste, presentation, and portioning
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and owners to develop new menu items and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cafe and breakfast service
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate
