In this role, you will help build the next generation of Wi-Fi chips enabling the Internet of Things (IoT).

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of ASIC Engineering & Product, you will lead the Radio team—including design, development, and verification of Morse Micro's wireless ICs.
You will ensure staffing, infrastructure, and processes are in place to drive silicon development from design through to tape-out, delivering high-quality, reliable results.
You will work closely with teams across the company throughout design, development, and production phases, supporting silicon bring-up and product delivery.
Your leadership will enable customer success and ensure our silicon meets performance, reliability, and time-to-market goals.
Responsibilities
Lead the radio design, development, and verification of wireless ICs.
Ensure staffing, infrastructure, and processes to drive silicon development from design through to tape-out.
Collaborate across teams during design, development, and production phases.
Support silicon bring-up and product delivery.
Provide leadership to enable customer success and achieve performance, reliability, and time-to-market goals.
Qualifications
15+ years experience leading cross-functional teams in a similar role.
15+ years experience in the wireless domain.
MSc or PhD in Electrical / Electronics / Communication Engineering.
Experience taking wireless chips to mass production.
Deep understanding of CMOS transistor operation.
Experience with TSMC 40 nm and 22 nm processes.
Expertise with IC design flows from Cadence or Synopsys.
Familiarity with a GNU/Linux development environment.
Familiarity with the IEEE standard.
Familiarity with analog modelling languages such as Verilog-A / Verilog-AMS.
Familiarity with Matlab / Octave.
Experience bringing up complex mixed-signal chips in a lab environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
