Perth Obstetrics & Gynaecology Ultrasound specialises in advanced gynaecological scans and a comprehensive range of obstetric scans. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to provide high-quality care in women's health.
We are pleased to offer two fixed-term part-time Medical Receptionist / Ultrasound Assistant positions at our practice in Mt. Lawley. The initial contract is for 1 year, which includes a 6-month probation period. Subject to performance and operational requirements, the contract may be extendable to 2 years .
The successful candidates will be expected to commence as soon as possible .

Overview:
The experience gained in this role would help to develop knowledge in detailed high-end ultrasound imaging of Obstetrics & Gynaecology patients, high-quality patient care, and organisational skills.
Interviews will start taking place from the 29th December 2025, with an immediate start date for successful candidates. You would be required to commit to a minimum of 2-3 days a week. The clinic is open from Monday to Friday only.

* Demonstrated previous experience in the role of receptionist and/or ultrasound assistant at a medical clinic
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to work independently or as part of a team
* Understanding of medical terminology, specifically regarding Radiology, Obstetrics, and Gynaecology
* Knowledge of medical billing system
* Enthusiasm to grow and develop with the practice
General Purpose of Ultrasound Assistant Role:
* Meet and greet the patients as per appointments and give instructions prior to and following scans
* Keep the ultrasound room well-organised and tidy
* Prepare the room and scan machines for appointments to help run the list as scheduled
* Help to write reports as dictated by the sonographer/sonologist
General Purpose of Receptionist Role:
* To provide high quality reception services to patients and doctors in a caring and supportive manner
* Efficiently managing patient appointments and giving instructions upon arrival
* Typing ultrasound reports
* Liaise with medical and non‑medical staff, other consultants and GPs in relation to bookings and reports
