Job Description
We are hiring Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable IP network solutions within the telecommunications domain. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, security, and performance optimization, along with strong collaboration and troubleshooting capabilities
Core Responsibilities
* Planning, designing, and implementing IP networks in telecom domain.
* Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
* Implement and maintain robust security policies, including firewalls, IDS, and NAC, to protect network infrastructure.
* Diagnose and resolve network issues to maintain high availability and performance.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies in line with industry standards.
* Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure network solutions align with business and technical requirements.
* Audit and manage IP address allocations to ensure efficient utilization.
* Continuously monitor network health, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations.
* Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching to ensure network stability and security.
* Apply proactive security measures to safeguard data and infrastructure from unauthorized access.
Job Description - Grade Specific
1. Strong understanding of IP protocols, routing, switching, and core networking technologies.
2. Proven experience in designing and implementing network architectures across diverse environments.
3. Ability to diagnose complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
4. Familiarity with network security frameworks and technologies.
5. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
* Industry certifications such asCCNA,CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
