Pharmacy Assistant – Retail (Aged Care & NDIS Focus)
We are looking for a friendly and proactive Pharmacy Assistant with a strong retail focus who would like to develop their skillset and expand their role to support aged care and NDIS customers.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the shop floor, building relationships, and helping customers find the right products and solutions to support their independence, health, and wellbeing.
About the Role
You will be a key point of contact in-store, supporting aged care clients, NDIS participants, carers, and families. With a strong retail focus, you will provide personalised service, recommend appropriate products, and help create a welcoming and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver outstanding retail customer service to aged care and NDIS clients
• Assist customers with product selection, including mobility aids, continence products, and daily living supports
• Build strong relationships with carers, support coordinators, and local providers
• Process sales and manage point-of-sale transactions
• Maintain attractive and well-stocked retail displays
• Support enquiries relating to NDIS consumables and aged care needs
• Contribute to a positive and team-focused store environment
About You
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment
• Experience working with aged care and/or NDIS customers (highly regarded)
• Confident in recommending products and providing tailored solutions
• Strong communication skills with a warm, approachable manner
• Passion for helping people maintain independence and quality of life
