This is a fantastic opportunity for a Carpenter who has done estimates/quotes, or an experienced Building Estimator within residential, to commence your career in our Estimating team located at the stunning Metricon Robina Office on the Gold Coast!
Responsibilities
* Producing accurate bill of quantities for builds
* Troubleshooting potential site issues regarding the inner urban build area
* Ensuring production work is carried out in a timely manner
* Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes to deal confidently with all stakeholders
* Ensuring relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved

Qualifications
* Residential Estimating or Quoting experience desirable but if you are a Carpenter looking to get off the tools and become an estimator - this could be the ideal role for you!
* The ability to produce building cost estimates with accuracy
* Proficiency in the use of Estimating Software desirable but not essential, along with Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite
* Highly-developed written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to thrive in a fast paced, goal driven and dedicated team environment; and
* A can do ATTITUDE and genuine passion for the industry
