Warrnambool City Council is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Subdivision Officer to join our City Growth Department. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the sustainable growth and development of Warrnambool through the provision of high-quality statutory subdivision services.
About the Role
As Subdivision Officer, you will provide sound technical advice and administrative support relating to land subdivision and other land dealings. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, developers, landowners and government agencies to ensure statutory processes are completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and assess subdivision applications and related land dealings in accordance with the Subdivision Act 1988 and the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
* Complete statutory and administrative processes, including certification, statement of compliance and referrals, within legislated timeframes.
* Provide clear, timely and well-considered statutory advice to applicants, consultants and other stakeholders.
* Deliver high-quality customer service by responding professionally to enquiries related to subdivision and land development matters.
About You
You will bring:
* Experience or knowledge of subdivision processes and relevant Victorian planning legislation.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Well-developed communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within statutory timeframes.

The Benefits
This is a permanent part time position working 48 hours per fortnight, with a salary range between $76,310- $86,749 per annum (pro-rata).
