Mercedes-Benz Vans Eagle Farm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Controller to oversee and coordinate daily workshop operations within our busy and high-performing Vans division.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced automotive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about productivity, quality workmanship, and team performance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Coordinating and controlling the daily workflow of the workshop
* Allocating jobs effectively to maximise efficiency and productivity
* Monitoring repair progress and ensuring deadlines are met
* Supporting and guiding technicians with technical and operational matters
* Maintaining a high-quality workmanship standard
* Maintaining a safe working environment
* Conducting toolbox talks and reinforcing workplace safety expectations
* Assisting with complex diagnostics where required

About You
* Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Senior Technician
* Proven leadership experience within an automotive workshop
* Strong organisational and workflow management skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-performance environment
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Relevant automotive trade qualifications
* Current driver's licence
