Truck Driver – AUSPRO FLEET SOLUTIONS PTY LTD
Salary: $77,000 – $80,000 plus Superannuation per annum
Position: Full Time

Responsibilities
* Operate a truck or delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
* Transport goods to and from specified locations according to schedule.
* Inspect and verify goods before departure and upon arrival.
* Perform routine pre‑start checks and maintenance on the truck, including oil changes, tire checks, and brake inspections.
* Report any mechanical issues or vehicle malfunctions to the managers.
* Keep the vehicle clean and ensure it is in good working order.
* Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety of oneself, other road users, and the goods.
* Comply with federal and state regulations, including those related to hazardous materials if applicable.
* Communicate effectively with customers, handling any issues or concerns professionally.
* Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage and provide excellent service.
* Complete and submit all necessary documents, including proof of delivery, inspection reports, and incident reports.
* Assist with loading and unloading goods.
* Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure efficient operations.
Skills / Qualifications
* Minimum qualification of Year 12 in Australia or overseas.
* Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
* Must have 2 years' experience of driving in Australia or overseas.
* Valid C‑Class Driver Licence.
* Strong driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations.
* Ability to handle physical tasks, including loading and unloading goods.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
* Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.
* Occasional exposure to adverse weather conditions.
Work Environment
* Primarily on the road, may also include loading dock and customer places.
* May involve irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
