About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for painting and decorating to develop their skills in a hands-on environment. You will work closely with our experienced team to gain valuable knowledge and experience in preparing surfaces, applying paint by brush and roller, and erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Wallpapering and preparing surfaces for painting
* Carrying out measurements and calculations, reading and interpreting plans and specifications
* Handling painting and decorating materials, using painting and decorating tools and equipment
* Removing and replacing doors and door and window components, erecting and maintaining trestle and plank systems
What We're Looking For:
* A reliable and hard-working individual with a genuine interest in the industry
* Someone who is trustworthy, motivated, and willing to learn and take on new challenges
* A white card holder
Preferred Qualifications:
* Driver's licence and vehicle (not essential)
