An opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a growing litigation team in Sydney, with a focus on commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and insolvency matters.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex disputes, delivering strategic legal advice, and representing clients across all court jurisdictions. This role suits a lawyer with strong technical capability, sound judgment, and the confidence to operate with autonomy while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Your new role
Managing commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters from inception to resolution
Advocacy in court appearances and mediations
Running litigation and insolvency matters with autonomy, including matters progressing to trial
Drafting high‑quality correspondence, advice, and court documents (pleadings, applications, affidavits)
Preparing briefs to Counsel, experts, and agents
Applying a strong working knowledge of State and Federal Court rules
Reviewing and settling court documents, advice, and correspondence
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals
Managing and maintaining strong client relationships
