Overview
We are looking for a customer-focusedBusiness Developer (Oil & Gas)to join our Energy & Industry team.
This role reports to the Regional Segment Manager and will involve creating strategies and leading their execution to increase sales from accounts based on commercial relationships and technical specifications within Australia.

What does the role involve?
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's footprint in onshore and offshore markets.
Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Operators, EPCs, and contractors to understand their needs and project requirements.
Strategic Sales Approach: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with industry trends, market demands, and company objectives.
Project Management: Track major projects from early design stages to procurement and execution, ensuring the company is well-positioned to supply solutions.
Technical Consultation: Provide technical and commercial support, collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.

What you need
At least 5 years of experience in direct technical business selling, preferably in the oil and gas industry
Engineering Degree
Ability to engage professionally with C-suite and operations level executives, as well as internal stakeholders
Willingness to travel domestically
Demonstrated strong achievement in their field
Ability to work independently and proactively reach out when support is needed
