Site Reliability Engineering Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
About the Role
This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices, as well as experience with observability tooling such as New Relic, Datadog, Dynatrace, SignalFX, SumoLogic, or Splunk.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing observability solutions that enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.
* They will also develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and tracing tools, ensuring efficient and automated observability processes.
* In addition, they will provide expert guidance and support to engineering teams on best practices, tooling, and troubleshooting for observability systems.
* Furthermore, they will advocate for continuous improvement, driving adoption of SLOs, reliability best practices, and resilient engineering across the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in improving operational outcomes for software systems in production.
* A strong understanding of reliability and observability concepts in distributed systems and microservices.
* Hands-on experience with observability tooling.
* Exquisite verbal and written communication skills, and collaboration, with the ability to build relationships, engage with stakeholders, and effectively convey complex ideas both verbally and in writing.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a strong bias for action, initiative, and problem-solving.
