Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is seeking a Psychology Registrar for an exciting position in Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.
The Team:
The Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (AMHWS), forming part of Mildura Base Public Hospital, offers a range of inpatient and community-based services for people with mental illness in the Northern Mallee Region.

The Role:
Under the supervision of an experienced Clinical Psychologist and registered supervisor along with the Team Leader they will provide comprehensive biopsychosocial clinical assessments and recovery-focused psychological treatment, and care, to people and their families that are evidence-based and best practice to enhance the person's recovery from mental health disorder and psychological distress.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum Master's degree in Clinical Psychology
* Provisional Psychologists with a Masters of Professional Psychology qualification, seeking a 6th Year Internship are also encouraged to apply
* Registration with AHPRA and the Psychology Board of Australia
* Basic theoretical knowledge and skills in the assessment, treatment and care of people with complex mental health and psychosocial needs
* Developing knowledge and/or experience in the application of psychometric assessment
