Tara Forklift Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering stability and the chance to grow with a trusted name in the forklift industry.
What We're Looking For
* AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology or Mechanical Trade (or equivalent/relevant experience)
* Minimum 5 years of practical, hands-on experience
* Strong knowledge of diagnostics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
* Proven ability to inspect, service, repair, and test forklifts and related equipment
* Confident using scanning tools, diagnostic software, and service manuals
What You'll Be Doing
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Perform scheduled services and preventative maintenance
* Replace and repair defective or worn parts
* Ensure all machinery meets safety and performance standards
* Carry out test drives and final checks after repairs
Salary & Benefits
* $76,515 – $83,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
* Pay aligned with current market rates and industry awards
