Offer description

7 month engagement + extensions Must be in Canberra No clearance required Candidate must be an Australian citizen Key duties and responsibilities Provision of project support.
Evaluates project performance and recommends changes where necessary.
Contributes to reviews and audits of project management to ensure conformance to standards.
Defines, documents and executes small projects or sub-projects.
Works alone or with a small team actively participating in all phases of the project.
Applies appropriate project management methods and tools.
Identifies, assesses and manages risks effectively.
Agrees project approach with stakeholders and prepares realistic project plans (including scope, schedule, quality, risk and communication plans).
Tracks and reports activities against the project schedule, managing stakeholder involvement as appropriate.
Monitors costs, times, quality and resources used takes action where these exceed agreed tolerances.
Assists in the development of new or improved practices and organisational processes or standards supported by organisational change management.
Development of sustainment documentation.
Essential criteria Portfolio, programme and project support: Takes responsibility for the provision of portfolio, programme and project support.
Advises on the available standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques.
Evaluates project and/or programme performance and recommends changes where necessary.
Contributes to reviews and audits of project and programme management to ensure conformance to standards.
Project management: Defines, documents and executes small projects or sub-projects.
