The Team:
The Northwest Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital deliver publicly funded Planned Surgery and Perioperative Services for the broader region of the Northwest and West coast of Tasmania.
The team provides preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to the community, servicing a varied range of specialties.
All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role:
The Senior Business Analyst role provides complex analyses and reporting that are accurate, reliable, and tailored to meet the requirements of Government and the Department of Health.
Through the application of specialised advice, business analysis and modelling, and standardised project management methodology, the role is engaged in one or more complex activities that implement high-priority Government initiatives to address increasing pressure on Tasmania's public hospitals and across the broader Tasmanian health system, enhancing the performance of assigned programs, projects, and/or service delivery.

Details of appointment:
Fixed-term full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date until 6 February 2026.
*Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
