The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of a portfolio of complex AV integration projects from initiation through to completion and handover. You will also provide hands‐on leadership to field teams and act as the primary escalation point for project and delivery matters.
Projects include audio visual and unified communications systems, smart workplace environments, meeting rooms, video walls, control rooms, and integrated technology solutions across commercial and government settings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle project delivery including scope definition, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and resource coordination across multiple AV projects. Oversee site delivery activities, subcontractors, and field teams, ensuring outcomes are delivered safely, on time, and to required quality standards.
Manage client and stakeholder engagement, acting as the on‐site representative and ensuring clear communication throughout all stages of delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans, manage variations and documentation, and oversee commissioning and handover processes.
Lead, mentor, and support field teams (direct reports), driving performance, capability development, and a strong delivery culture focused on safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
What You Bring
* Considerable experience in AV or related technology project delivery
* Strong exposure to audio visual and/or unified communications projects (essential)
* Background in contractor‐side delivery across AV, structured cabling, security integration, ICT, or telecommunications
* Proven experience delivering complex projects ($M Plus) in live or operational environments
* Strong understanding of construction workflows, technical documentation, and site‐based delivery
* Experience leading field teams and subcontractors
* Proficiency with project planning and scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project or similar)
* PMP or equivalent project management certification highly regarded
* Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
