Building Estimator
We are seeking a skilled Building Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections, preparing detailed scopes of work, and coordinating the repair process.
* Conduct thorough site inspections to assess damage and quantify repair requirements.
* Develop accurate cost estimates for insurance repair jobs, taking into account various factors such as materials, labor, and timelines.
* Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and subcontractors/trades to ensure seamless coordination throughout the repair process.
* Plan, schedule, and supervise on-site works to guarantee high-quality outcomes and compliance with industry standards.
* Maintain up-to-date records of job progress, including variations, timelines, and budget.
* Ensure all site safety requirements are met, adhering to relevant WHS regulations and best practices.
* Serve as a client-facing representative, communicating effectively with homeowners and stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged throughout the process.
* Utilize advanced estimating and project-management software to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
