Aircraft Technical Inspector Role
This is a unique opportunity to work as an Aircraft Technical Inspector in a dynamic environment. As an Aircraft Technical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of aircraft structures, structural components, and engines. This role requires strong technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, structural components, and engines
- Conduct daily work site Safety Inspections and Foreign Object Damage Inspections
- Monitor tool control programs and ensure that measuring and test equipment meets calibration requirements
- Maintain Quality, Safety, Training, and Certification Records
Requirements:
- Five years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience
- At least one year experience inspecting MDS aircraft assigned
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P)
- Valid FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Security Clearance appropriate to the level required for the work
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift/push/pull parts and equipment up to 25 pounds
- May be required to occasionally lift/push/pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Work is performed in Aircraft maintenance hangar that is moderately lighted, heated, and ventilated
