As a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist/Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Mental Health, you will be based in Port Macquarie. This vibrant coastal town offers the perfect blend of work and lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist psychiatric services to patients.
* Promote patient safety and quality of care.
* Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training and other health workers.
Essential Selection Criteria:
* Coming from the UK: Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT).
* Other Countries: Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
* Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health.
* Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
