The Archivist is responsible for conducting appraisals of records, preparing recommendation reports, and transferring significant records to external archives for preservation. They offer expert advice on record classification, retention authorities, and access directions, and provide guidance and support to Records Officers in managing record management procedures.

Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Business (Records & Information Management) or equivalent experience
* Ability to safely and efficiently handle boxes weighing between 5 kg and 10 kg
* Physical fitness and capability to perform duties
* Ability to work onsite at the CSO Office, located at 60-70 Elizabeth Street, Sydney
