Good Shepherd College invites applications for the pivotal role of Head of Senior Campus, overseeing the educational and pastoral life of our thriving Years 7–12 campus.This role is a 0.4 FTE administration with a 0.6 FTE teaching load (dependent on applicants skills and experience), commencing in Term 1, 2026 or by negotiation.

The Head of Senior Campus is a key leadership role responsible for:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the Senior Campus
- Fostering a vibrant learning culture and strong pastoral care
- Supporting staff development and professional growth
- Championing our Christian ethos in all aspects of campus life
- Working closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to shape the future direction of the college

Selection Criteria

Applicants should be able to demonstrate – or show the capacity to develop – the following:

SC1 – Strengthening Lutheran Identity
Ability to support and promote the College’s Christian ethos, worship and devotional life.

SC2 – Enhancing Teaching and Learning
Ability to lead and support quality teaching and learning across Years 7–12, including curriculum leadership, innovative practice and using data to improve outcomes.

SC3 – Ongoing Improvement and Innovation
Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in campus management, pastoral care and operational efficiency.

SC4 – Building Community
Skills to build strong partnerships with students, parents and the wider community, maintain a positive environment with high pastoral care, and support the College’s co-curricular program.

SC5 – Leading Effective Organisation and Management
Skills and knowledge to effectively organise, manage and administer a school campus, including planning and resource management.

SC6 – Personal Qualities
Confidence, flexibility, teamwork, innovation and perseverance to bring out the best in students and contribute to a strong P-12 learning culture, with a commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a teaching component of 0.6 FTE. It offers an exciting opportunity for a energetic and experienced educator to influence lives and lead with purpose.

Located in the heart of the Western District of Victoria, Good Shepherd College is a Lutheran P-12 college, providing a place of faith and learning in a safe and caring environment across two campus. Our Prep to Year 6 campus is nestled within the regional centre of Hamilton, on spacious grounds and well-appointed facilities. The senior campus, supporting Year 7-12 students, is situated on a picturesque, rural property of 45 hectares located on the outskirts of Hamilton.
