We're Armstrong Barbecue and Smashville — a fast growing hospitality group in Geelong running a barbecue restaurant, burger bars, a production kitchen, catering arm, stadium outlet, and a retail product range coming to market. We're expanding Smashville to multiple Geelong locations in the next 12 months and we've got some big moments on the horizon.We need someone who can tell our story the way it deserves to be told.
About the RoleYou'll be based at our production kitchen and group headquarters where you'll have your own dedicated quiet office space to edit, plan, and create from. Step outside and you're straight into a working production kitchen where mountains of brisket get trimmed, sauces get bottled, and spice blends get packed every day. You'll get out on the road with our food truck and catering crew, be at festivals, weddings, and events, and be everywhere our brands are.
What You'll Be DoingShooting, editing, and publishing reels and TikToks across Armstrong Barbecue and SmashvilleManaging Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook across multiple brandsRunning paid Meta advertising campaigns to drive catering enquiries and brand awarenessDesigning in-house marketing materials — menus, signage, event flyers, digital screensBuilding content for our retail product launch including sauces, spice blends, and heat and eat barbecue productsGetting out on the road with the food truck and catering crew to capture authentic contentHelping at events and on the food truck when needed — then picking up the camera
What We're Looking For2–4 years of content creation and social media experienceStrong portfolio of short form video content — food or hospitality preferredProficiency in CapCut and ideally Adobe Premiere ProExperience running paid Meta ad campaignsGraphic design skills in Canva or Adobe Creative SuiteWorking knowledge of AI tools for content creation and editingYour own laptop and editing setupSomeone who brings ideas rather than waits for a brief
