Teaching-Focused Opportunity
This is an exciting Level C opportunity, where you'll take on a pivotal role as the coordinator for Year 2 of the MD program. You'll be at the forefront of shaping and guiding the design of dynamic educational experiences, including innovative learning, teaching, and assessment activities.
* Teaching: Leadership and collaboration, serving as a key member of the AME, fostering effective collaboration across the Medical School and its partners.
* Pedagogical Expertise: Coordinator curriculum implementation across multiple delivery sites to optimise student engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
* Curriculum Development and Quality Assurance: Develop assessment practices for Year 1 and contribute to the UQMD Program's overall assessment framework.
* Engagement and Partnerships: Guide and support to program contributors to ensure the provision of high-quality learning experiences and assessment.
About This Opportunity: The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of contemporary educational practice in medical education, curriculum expertise, and the ability to coordinate and support the program design and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications: A medicine or healthcare professional degree, OR a PhD in a relevant discipline area. A growing record of meaningful internal service roles in conjunction with contribution to external activities.
