Development role for the Sales Director Position

**About the Role**:
Reporting into the Sales Director, this newly created role will be charged with effective day to day management and growth of Woolworths and Big W. You will benefit from picking up a relationship that is in an excellent place. The business is currently a platinum provider and have been selected as Supplier of the Year two years in row.
Day to day you will be responsible for developing and executing the JBP's, Promotions, Forecasting, Trade Spend, NPD Launches and the 3rd party field force management.
This is a unique opportunity that offers genuine progression in the Sales Director role within 3-4 years. For someone that has global ambition, there will also be opportunities in Singapore and Europe down the road.
**Duties**:
- Development and execution of customer business plans
- Preparation and implementation of promotional plans across all categories
- Control of trade spend budgets
- Exploitation of all opportunities to increase ranging and the launch of NPD
- Work closely with Logistics and Supply chain to ensure satisfactory CSL's
- Manage 3rd party merchandising relationships to maximise ROI
- Effective stock forecasting and adhoc liaison with customer replenishment personnel
**Skills and Experience**:
- Proven track record of successful account management across Woolworths or Coles
- Demonstratable experience of successfully overseeing price rise negotiations
- Experience of working with scan and shopper data e.g IRI, Nielsen, Quantium
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven entrepreneurial approach to account development
- Degree qualification ideal, with Masters qualification seen as advantageous
