Permanent full-time role with development and upskilling opportunities
In this role, you will:
Operate machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to maximise output
Comply with Thiess' policies and procedures
Respond to instructions from Mining Supervisor
Maintain floor levels
Minimise dilution and achieve design parameters within acceptable tolerances
Maintain stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure safe and efficient flow
Operate, drive and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads
Set and maintain high housekeeping standards
Carry out pre-start checks
About you
3 years plus experience operating a CAT 994 Loader in a production mining operation, including loading at the ROM
Equivalent experience in Komatsu WA****, Le Tourneau ****
Possess strong mining operational skills and demonstrate ability in maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production environment
Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration
Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
