PPS Servicing has proven experience and capabilities in mining industry with maintenance, construction, engineering design, fabrication and installation of industrial facilities.
We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our growing team. Successful candidate will work 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.
About the Role:
Rigger – 2/1 Day & Night Shifts
Location: Sino Iron Ore, Cape Preston (FIFO from Perth)
Employment Type: Full-time
To be eligible for the role you must possess the following:
* Good knowledge and experience in working in a complex environment with a wide variety of loads.
* High level of commitment to safety and safe work practices
* Able to work as part of an extended team
* Able to work safely at heights and within confined spaces
* Able to work unsupervised
* Minimum 1-2 years work experience (scaffolding) preferably in mining/resources sector
* Structural steel, pipe work and mechanical rigging highly desirable
Qualifications / Certificates:
* Scaffolding Ticket
* Additional Riggers ticket & experience (HIGHLY advantageous)
* Valid Elevated Work Platform (WP) / Working Safely at Heights / Confined Spaces Ticket
* White Card
* Current WA Drivers Licence
* Able to work in extreme heat (50 degrees)
* Applicants holding additional High Risk Work Licence classifications will be highly regarded
Applicants will be required to:
* Undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Test before commencement.
* Willing to be clean-shaven for the use of P2 Respirators.
