Join our team as a Laundry Assistant and deliver efficient laundry care to our residents!Part time permanent roleCasual role is also available$30.63 - $31.52 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the part time role$38.29 - $39.40 per hour including casual loading (dependent on experience) + superannuation for the casual roleDay and afternoon shifts available 7 days a week.About the roleIn this role, you will be responsible for laundering linen and personal clothing for residents, ensuring all items are cleaned in accordance with infection control standards and care instructions. Your work will help maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all residents, with a focus on hygiene and quality care.Other responsibilities include:Collecting all soiled laundry, treating stains appropriately, washing, drying, sorting and folding.Attending to minor repairs of personal clothing.Attaching woven labels to resident clothing where necessary using Ipso machine.Assisting in maintaining all stores and ordering of goods relating to the laundry area.About youYou are a reliable and caring person who takes pride in helping others.
