About the Role
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a background in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Aquaculture. This hands-on role focuses on water resource management across multiple farming and industrial sites, contributing to sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance.
What You'll Do
• Water Mapping & Engineering Design
o Map water resources across multiple farms and processing facilities
o Develop engineering water maps detailing sources, flows, usage, and discharge points
• Environmental Licensing & Compliance
o Interpret environmental licensing requirements for water discharge
o Implement robust sampling programs and recommend compliance strategies
• Water Quality & Exchange Projects
o Design and manage water quality projects intersecting farming operations and environmental obligations
o Build monitoring databases and dashboards for data-driven decisions
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Aquaculture, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Physical fitness for fieldwork
Preferred:
• Experience with CAD, GIS, data analysis tools, or environmental modeling software
• Project experience in water resource management or environmental compliance
• Familiarity with aquaculture or agricultural environments
• Understanding of Australian environmental legislation

What does the recruitment process look like?
This role will remain open on Seek until 9 January 2026. We will subsequently review applications and invite shortlisted candidates to interview in late January.
