A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

Mandatory Requirements
* Entitlement to work within Australia
* A Police Check that is current and within 12 months of the issue date
* Provision of valid Working with Children Check
* Provision of an NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions
* Understanding of early childhood development and behaviour
* Experience working with children in an MDT in hospital or specialist school setting
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Holds, or eligible for, Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) membership
* Additional relevant post graduate education/qualifications or progression towards these
* Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills (including conflict resolution and negotiation)
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and modelling of interdisciplinary practice
* Demonstrated ability to teach staff at all levels and across services, as well as members of the wider community
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Demonstrated skills in innovation, service development, and evaluation
* High level organisational skills
* Understanding of health structures
* Dynamic and innovative problem-solving skills
DESIRABLE:
* Understanding of early childhood development and behaviour
* Experience working with children in an MDT in hospital or specialist school setting
* Experience with ortho paediatric rehabilitation would be an advantage
* Experience in screening for Cerebral Palsy and complex genetic syndromes
* Completion of the Advanced Skills in Paediatric Physiotherapy - neonates and infant's course
* Post Grad Dip in Paediatrics
* Experience with NDIS submission paperwork
