What we would like from you:
Ideally, we are looking for suitable candidates that are good communicators with an ability to think outside the square, a strong devotion and desire to succeed in his/her career as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or Auto Electrician, with a can-do attitude
* Relevant Qualification (Australian Recognised Trade Certificate)
* Valid Australian Driver's License (Minimum C Class, however HR license would be an advantage)
* Minimum 2 years mining experience for FIFO positions working on Heavy Duty Diesel Machinery including CAT, Komatsu, Cummins, Hitachi
* Experience using CAT SIS
* Hydraulic experience desirable
* Demonstrated experience in equipment diagnostic procedures
* Genuine commitment to team based work as well as being able to work autonomously
* Strong commitment to customer service and safety
* Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening as well as random ongoing drug testing
* Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
* ARC Tick Licenced (Auto Electrician)
* Demonstrated experience in Air Conditioning and Auto Electrical, including repair techniques, circuit diagram reading and fault finding.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Working on a wide range of equipment including Road Trucks to Earthmoving Equipment such as Excavators, Loaders, Graders and Dump Trucks.
* Carry out scheduled servicing, component rebuilds, diagnosing/fault finding and mechanical/auto electrical repairs both workshop and site based.
* Be able to diagnose and identify repairs and parts required to carry out scope of work.
* Attending Field Service breakdowns throughout the South West.
