The Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and skilled Site Engineer to join the Contract Management Directorate, playing a key role in delivering major transport infrastructure projects that shape South Australia's future.This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of construction and maintenance works - ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You will contribute to contract administration, including claims assessment, variations, and progress payments.
Beyond the site, you will provide technical input into project planning and design, support contract management, and help ensure compliance with departmental procedures.

Responsibilities Deliver major transport infrastructure projects on time and within budget, to high standards.Contribute to contract administration, including claims assessment, variations, and progress payments.Provide technical input into project planning and design, support contract management, and ensure compliance with departmental procedures.Collaborate with contractors, project teams, and key stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
Qualifications A degree in Engineering (Civil preferred) providing eligibility for graduate membership as a Professional Engineer of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.A current Driver's Licence is essential.
Special Conditions A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment and must be renewed every three years.Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
Tenure Temporary appointment up to two (2) years.

Remuneration PO2 - $88,255 to $97,667 pa + Superannuation.
