With this growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Controller - Import & Export to join the team in North Strathfield. In this role you will be providing direction & leadership for all International Logistics related activity within your area of control. This is a key area for our business, and a good role that will provide opportunities for highly motivated individuals to demonstrate their knowledge and provide essential insights to deliver a growth agenda.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Manage and process day-to-day operational capability across multiple customers and incoterms to ensure On-Time delivery to Wharf and manage exceptions as required
- Responsibility for processing and administering all international Intercompany and Customer export and import to Australia from Intercompany or third-party manufacturers
- Managing aspects of any internal stakeholder and external relationships, including customers, Intercompany BU's, 3PLs and Co-Manufacture / Co-Packer partners and processes, through a variety of operational activities
- Monitoring contractual, financial performance and activity-based reporting whilst providing visibility and key insights to management
- Working with internal and external stakeholders such as Production, Supply Planning, Quality Teams and 3PL's on Inventory management and suitable controls
- Utilisation of SAP systems and other internal controls and processes to provide further support and data analysis within the Logistics Team
**Ingredients to be successful**:
- Proven knowledge and/or experience within international logistics and managing 3PL's
- Well organised, essential time management skills and attention to detail
- Articulate, good written and clear presentation skills
- Basic financial and business skills and spreadsheet capability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
