Microsoft Cloud Transformation / Senior Modern Workplace Engineer
Sydney-based with full working rights
An enterprise organisation is undergoing a major digital transformation, shifting from on-premise Microsoft technologies to modern cloud-based solutions. With legacy systems reaching end-of-life, the team is focused on delivering future-ready platforms rather than day-to-day support (handled by service desk/field services).
This role will play a key part in driving the change, working on projects such as:
* Migrating mailboxes to Exchange Online
* Rolling out Windows 11
* Transitioning group policy management to Intune
* Administering SharePoint Online and Teams
* SharePoint online administration
* PowerShell Scripting Knowledge
Sitting within the Architecture function, this is a replacement role with a strong focus on solution design, implementation, and Microsoft migration expertise.
Essential Skills
* Strong technical proficiency in configuring and administering modern workplace technologies, with a focus on user experience, security, and compliance.
* Expertise in advanced security configurations, identity management, and data protection strategies.
* Proven experience designing and implementing end-user device management solutions (provisioning, app deployment, policy enforcement).
* Proven experience with migration projects
* Advanced knowledge of automation tools and scripting for efficient device management.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.
Desirable
* Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (or equivalent).
* Experience working within MSPenvironments, with an understanding of sector-specific challenges.
